A taxi driver who was arrested after two teenagers died as a result of his car crashing into a tree has been bailed.
The white Tesla crashed on Holland Road near the junction with Popes Lane, in Oxted, Surrey, shortly before 22:00 GMT on Saturday.
Two men, named locally as Jenson Seal and Jake Neaves, died after the crash. Surrey Police said a third teenage man, who was also a passenger, remained “in hospital in a serious condition”.
The 30-year-old taxi driver from Oxted who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving was bailed and remains under investigation.
