Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated at the “Wings Ceremony” (191) that “from the depths of October 7, we have leaped forward in the Middle East.” He added: “Thanks to the remarkable achievements in the War of Resurgence, the German Chancellor requested to meet in Israel, and after the visit, I can announce that Germany wants to purchase more and more systems from us. Other countries around the world are standing in line. During the War of Resurgence, particularly in the 12 days of ‘Like a Lion’ operation, we demonstrated to the world what Israeli air superiority means.” He further added that “Israel will invest 350 billion shekels to build an independent arms industry to reduce our dependence on others.”
