Two men, 42-year-old Darryl Little and 28-year-old Peter Campbell, appeared in court yesterday on a charge of murder and several firearms offences. Both men will remain in custody until their next appearance in the new year.

Meanwhile, police had been on the hunt for a third suspect, 47-year-old Douglas Yetman, who was said to be armed and dangerous.

RNC finally tracked Yetman down at a home on James Place yesterday evening. The operation, which involved RNC’s tactical squad and RCMP’s emergency response unit, triggered a lengthy shelter-in-place order.

He was arrested without incident and remains in custody.

The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to reach out to the RNC (709-729-8000) or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
