Congratulations are in order for Dónal Óg Cusack, and his partner, Nathan Adams, who have just announced their engagement.
The Cork man got down on bended knee on Christmas Day, and popped the question to the love of his life, with the scenic backdrop of the sun and sea behind them.
After the magical proposal, Nathan said yes, and the couple posed for some seriously sweet engagement photos and videos.

Dónal Óg picked out a classic ring for his love’s finger, which Nathan proudly showed off. The couple were also seen sharing a kiss on the cheek.

Dónal Óg recently appeared on Brendan Courtney’s Keys to My Life, and spoke of how his father received cruel messages and death threats after he came out.
He said that people would attempt to sympathise with his father as though a tragedy had occurred. They would say things like ‘Sorry to hear about Dónal Óg.’
However, his father, Dónal Senior, was extremely accepting, and the pair would laugh the haters off together. A united front!
