ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A woman in New Mexico has made some serious allegations related to the Jeffrey Epstein case.

The Department of Justice says it needs more time to release over a million newly discovered documents related to the Epstein case.

The DOJ had a deadline of Dec. 19 to release all files, but the discovery of additional documents has delayed the process.

On Wednesday, the DOJ released tens of thousands of additional pages.

President Trump has not been accused of any wrongdoing in connection to Epstein. To date, Ghislaine Maxwell remains the only person charged in connection to Epstein’s crimes.

The New Mexico accusations

The released documents include an FBI intake report which includes a tip from a New Mexico woman given to New York police in 2020.

The woman alleged being sex trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and her uncle in the 1980s.

The report states she was 13 and pregnant at the time. Epstein is listed as a subject, and Donald Trump is listed as a witness. The report states her baby was killed with the body thrown into Lake Michigan.

The DOJ’s statement

While the Department of Justice did not issue a statement on this specific claim, it issued a statement on X where it cast doubt on some claims made right before the 2020 election.

The DOJ posted the following on Tuesday:

“The Department of Justice has officially released nearly 30,000 more pages of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. Some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election. To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already. Nevertheless, out of our commitment to the law and transparency, the DOJ is releasing these documents with the legally required protections for Epstein’s victims.”
