A public information officer with the police service told CBC News that officials received a call at 10:23 a.m. on Friday about an accident near Andrews Street and Selkirk Avenue involving a vehicle and a transit bus.Â
The driver was being followed by police from the north district general patrol and K-9 units when the collision happened, the public information officer said.Â
Police said the driver is in custody.Â
