Edmonton police say a man is in hospital following a collision between an SUV and an e-scooter Thursday afternoon.
EPS says around 3:15 p.m. on July 31, officers responded to a report of a collision near 51 Avenue and 106 Street.
It is believed that a Dodge Durango was making a left-hand turn onto 106 Street when it hit a man riding an e-scooter, who reportedly entered the intersection against a red light.
The 32-year-old e-scooter rider was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and has since been upgraded to stable. The driver of the Durango, a 38-year-old woman, was not injured.
