Military medals have been stolen during a burglary which took place two days before Christmas police have said.
The medals, along with cash, were stolen from a home on Mulberry Way in Barrow, Cumbria between 10:00 and 19:30 GMT on 23 December.
The two medals were a General Service Medal – Northern Ireland and an Iraq War Medal.
Det Sgt Darren Henderson from Cumbria Police said the medals held “significant sentimental value” to their owner and the force wanted them “returned to their rightful owner”.
