MINNESOTA, USA — The Minnesota State Patrol is asking drivers to cancel or delay travel plans after reporting more than 170 crashes amid the snowstorm.Â

Additionally, there were 163 reports of vehicles off the road, seven jackknifed semis and five spinouts.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation issued a no-travel advisory to highways across the southwestern part of the state. The advisory will stay in place until conditions improve.Â
