The Mackinac Bridge Authority reports the Mackinac Bridge is closed until further notice.
The authority sent out the following text message:
The Mackinac Bridge is closed until further notice.(WLUC)
The bridge authority is asking travelers to stay clear of the area until further notice.
TV6 called the Mackinac Bridge Authority, who confirmed there is an “active situation” but said they could not comment further.
TV6 will provide updates when new and relevant information is made available.
