Police near the spot where the man was discovered on Napiershall Street on Christmas Day
Detectives investigating the death of a man who was found injured on Christmas Day have made an arrest.
The 38-year-old, who has not been named, was discovered on Napiershall Street, near Great Western Road in Glasgow’s west end, at about 23:40 on Thursday.
Police Scotland said the man was taken to the city’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A force spokesperson said a 36-year-old man had been charged in connection with the death.
The suspect is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
