RICE LAKE, Wis. — Sunday’s blizzard brought snow and icy roads across Minnesota, leading to a no-travel advisory across the southwestern part of the state.Â
As of Monday morning, the no-travel advisory is still in effect. The Minnesota State Patrol reported hundreds of cars crashing or sliding off the road during and after the snowstorm.Â
So, which city raked in the highest snow total?Â
As of 6 a.m. on Monday, the highest snowfall total was 9 inches across state lines in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. For Minnesota cities, Burnsville triumphed with 7 inches, followed by Otsego with 6.5 inches.Â
MSP Airport racked up 5.8 inches of snowfall, leading to hundreds of delayed flights on Sunday.Â
Northern Minnesota reported the lower end of snow totals, with Two Harbors at one inch and International Falls at 1.1 inches.Â
