A man extradited from Dubai to Glasgow has appeared in court for a second time and accused of being involved in serious organised crime.
Stephen Jamieson, 42, was back at Glasgow Sheriff Court having initially appeared earlier this month. He faces a total of six charges.
He was arrested in the United Arab Emirates on 16 September, and arrived back in Glasgow on 18 December.
Jamieson, 42, was taken into custody in Dubai on the same day as three of Scotland’s most high-profile gangland figures – Steven Lyons, Ross McGill and Steven Larwood. The other men were released the following month.
Jamieson is alleged to have directed someone to commit a serious offence and is further accused of being involved in serious organised crime.
He is said to have been involved in four cases of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
Jamieson made no plea at the private hearing and was remanded in custody and fully committed.
He is expected to appear at the High Court in 2026.
The extradition is thought to be the first of its kind from Dubai to Scotland.
