“Thankfully, there were no reports of any injuries, however, the outcome could have been far worse, said Det Insp Stephen Hill.
“The collision caused substantial damage to the property, and several nearby residents had their Christmas festivities disrupted after being evacuated from their homes while emergency services dealt with the incident.
“Enquiries in relation to the matter are ongoing, and at this stage we believe that this was a targeted attack,” he said.
The 33-year-old man was arrested on Friday and has since been released on conditional bail.
The 29-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday and remained in custody.
