An Ottawa man is facing charges related to child sexual abuse after police found an imported sex doll resembling a child.
A press release from Ottawa Police Service states that on Dec. 30, 2025, investigators from the Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at a resident in the city’s east end.
Following the search, 41-year-old Trevor Newcombe was arrested and charged with:
Importing child sexual abuse and exploitation material; and
Unlawful possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
