A mother-of-four has died following a crash between a car and a van.

Donna Ball, 48, died in hospital on 30 December after being injured in the incident on the A4119 bypass at Williamstown, Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf.

The crash happened shortly before 11:25 GMT on 29 December with five people taken to hospital, including Ms Ball, who was driving the car, along with her daughter.

The driver of the van, a 19-year-old man from Newport, who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, has been bailed until 30 March.
