Snow has fallen across Kent as the UK is braced for freezing temperatures.
Parts of the county woke up on Friday to white and wintry scenes.
A Met Office yellow warning of snow and ice for the county was in force for Friday morning with Met Office forecaster Neil Armstrong predicting the cold spell “could last well into next week”.
A UK Health Security Agency amber cold health alert is in force until 9 January, with sub-zero temperatures expected at night-time in many places.
