Hamilton police say they are investigating a shooting on Princess Street Friday morning.
Police say they responded to a report of a single shot fired in the area at around 7:30 a.m.
The person who is believed to have a gun and have made the shot has now barricaded themselves, according to police.
No injuries are reported at this time.
Investigators have closed the road between Lottridge Street and Sherman Avenue.
