An updated weather alert for snow and ice has been issued for the South West, as a “light dusting” fell in parts of Devon on Saturday.
The Met Office yellow warning of ice, external runs from 16:00 GMT on Saturday until 12:00 on Sunday.
Yellow alerts for ice and snow run from 15:00 on Sunday to 11:00 on Tuesday. The service said “scattered sleet and snow showers, and icy patches” may cause travel disruption, as well as potentially injuries due to slips and falls.
Devon County Council warned locals to travel with care, and said roads and paths that looked clear were likely to still be frozen.
