A council in Kent is offering two community groups or charities the chance to use a 1,200-seater sports hall for free.
Mote Hall at the Maidstone Leisure Centre is being offered to two organisations for use on one occasion each, thanks to a collaboration between Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) and Maidstone Leisure Trust.
The main sports hall inside the leisure centre seats up to 1,200 people, or up to 1,000 standing. It usually costs up to £2,100 to hire.
Cabinet member for community cohesion and safety, David Naghi, says Mote Hall is a “fantastic space to bring communities together”.
