Three people have been charged with second-degree murder after a man who was assaulted in Kingston, Ont., died in hospital last week.

Kingston Police said Jayme Syring, 34, died from injuries Dec. 30 after he was assaulted at a home on Princess Street near Gardiners Road.

Police said they arrested a 51-year-old man on New Year’s Day in connection with their investigation.

Court documents show that man and two others, all from Kingston, each face a charge of second-degree murder. The accused are Angelo Oliviera, 51, Mike Barry, 59, and Jessee Hanrahan, 32.
