Hamilton Police Service is investigating a distraction theft that occurred at Fortino’s, located at 1579 Main Street West, Hamilton.
On Saturday, December 6, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., an elderly female was targeted while shopping. Four suspects worked together to distract the victim and steal her wallet from her purse, along with her PIN. Following the theft, the suspects used the victim’s debit and credit cards, withdrawing approximately $3,500 in cash and making an additional $750 in purchases.
Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the following four suspects, believed to be working in concert:

Wearing a navy-blue Nike jacket, black knit toque, and light-coloured scarfDark pants

Wearing a light-coloured winter jacket, fur-lined hat, and scarfPushing a shopping cart
