Rail passengers have been warned of delays and cancellations after a suspected unexploded wartime bomb was found near a line in Birmingham.
An old mortar device was discovered at to Duddeston Mill Trading Estate, on Duddeston Mill Road, Washwood Heath, at about 09:45 GMT on Tuesday.
National Rail said disruption through Birmingham New Street was expected to last until 12:30 GMT, and lines between New Street and Duddeston had been closed as a result, prompting delays and cancellations on services between Tamworth, Derby and Sheffield.
A bomb disposal team is attending the incident and a 100m exclusion zone is in place.
