Two men have been arrested after officers discovered £5,000 in cash stuffed down a man’s underpants during a vehicle search in a supermarket car park in Nottinghamshire.

Police said it followed a car following intelligence and blocked it into a parking space at Tesco, Station Road, Beeston, at about 14:00 GMT on Sunday.

Two men inside the car were searched and one was found to have about £5,000 concealed in his pants while also being in possession of three mobile phones, said police.

A 42-year-old man and another man, 45, were arrested on suspicion of possession of criminal property.
