Plans for a new training facility at a Ministry of Defence (MoD) site have been approved.
An application to transform former hangars at MoD Lyneham, Wiltshire, into a facility to train servicemen and women on specialist military vehicle maintenance were lodged in July.
The new building will be located towards the centre of the site and will be built by Kier Construction.
Wiltshire Council planners were told no heritage assets would be affected by the work at the base and granted permission on 24 December.
