South Central Ambulance Service confirmed nine children travelling on the school coach, along with the driver, sustained minor injuries, while eight adults on the Reading bus were also treated for minor injuries.
A spokesperson for SCAS said: “Our lead clinician on the scene has reported that they think only two of the injured (one child, one adult) may need to go to hospital for further treatment, but that may change as further assessments of all those involved take place.
“The incident log we have states that our lead clinician (the paramedic team leader) reported road conditions were very icy at the scene.”
