The family of a man who died in a crash on New Year’s Day has paid tribute to their “loving son, brother and grandson”.

Emergency services were called to Station Hill in Farnham, Surrey, following a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Thursday.

The pedestrian, James O’Mara, from Farnham, was taken to hospital where he later died, police said.

In a statement, the 21-year-old’s family said his “warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew him”.
