Neighbours expressed shock after two elderly people were found dead at a home in Delta, B.C.’s Ladner neighbourhood early Wednesday morning.
Delta police said in a statement that they were called to the home in the 4600-block of Ladner Crescent just after 12:10 a.m. PT on Wednesday.
There, they say they found two dead elderly people.
Police say the deaths are believed to be isolated, and they aren’t looking for any suspects, with Delta Police Department’s major crime unit now investigating the case.

Myrtle Mazzon, who has lived in the neighbourhood for three decades, said the people who died were a couple in their 70s or 80s.
“They were a quiet couple. She used to go to the mailbox and I used to wave to her all the time, but they were retired, so just the two of them,” Mazzon told CBC News.
Sandra Neufeld, another neighbour, said the area is a quiet one, largely occupied by seniors.
“I moved here last October from Langley. Such a difference in people, and the kindness, and just everyone helps everybody,” she said.
“I’m just shocked because this is such a quiet, quiet neighborhood.”
