Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky are stuck in the Caribbean and can’t return to the United States because of U.S. involvement in Venezuela.
The comedians, who are married and hosts of the “Your Mom’s House” podcast shared a video Wednesday explaining the situation after U.S. went into Venezuela to get Nicolas Maduro.
“We are stuck in the Caribbean,” Segura posted in the Instagram video. “Do you remember how (the U.S.) went in and we captured Maduro in Venezuela and he’s being brought to justice in New York? They’ve shut down a lotta airspace so we spent days here.”
The couple appear to be making the best of their dilemma, even laughing it off.
“We can’t go home,” Segura said. “We’ve been stuck for extra days. Airspace becomes opened and then closed. It’s fun. …
“I’ll tell you the fun part is that you go to the airport and they tell you, ‘You’re gonna leave now’ and then they go, ‘Just kidding, you’re not,’” Segura quipped in the video. “Every day is just a mystery. Will we get home?”
Pazsitzky then jumped in, “But we’re still doing our thing and stuff like that and trying not to get a DUI. We’re doing it all. Anyway, Happy New Year, we love you and we will see you next week.”
