Overall for 2025, there were 845,713 one-way crossings, which is a 23.8-per-cent decrease from 2024

Even Christmas travel couldn’t boost the number of vehicles travelling across the International Bridge.

According to a release from the International Bridge Administration, there were 57,308 one-way traffic crossings in the month of December.

That’s down 27 per cent from the last month of 2024.

Overall for 2025, there were 845,713 one-way crossings, which is a 23.8 per cent decrease from the 1,109,831 crossings in 2024.

The full stats for December are as follows:


Full-Fare Passenger Cars: 21,292 crossings (33.7-per-cent decrease)
Commuter Fare: 31,377 crossings (23.8-per-cent decrease)
Car Pulling Trailers: 413 crossings (25-per-cent decrease)
Commercial Trucks: 4,226 crossings (9.3-per-cent decrease)

The bridge has processed 106.8-million bridge crossings since 1962.
