On Sunday a message was sent to the TrackADog group after Flora was spotted in the Sandhills area and she was subsequently tracked to a closed holiday chalet.
The chalet owner opened the gates and teams used a thermal scope to find her under the building.
Flora was checked over for injuries and safely returned to her owner.
A spokesperson from Drone SAR for Lost Dogs IOW said: “We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone that reported their sightings, let us search their properties and land.
“Particularly thanks to the staff at Whitecliff Bay who not only hosted our volunteers, but allowed us to use their facilities to recharge our drones.
“They were so kind and accommodating.”
