Hilton Beach is still in the running to be named Canada’s kindest community.
Located on St. Joseph Island, the village of Hilton Beach is in the top 10 to win $100,000.
As part of the contest, the Coca-Cola holiday caravan visited the community in December.
Coca-Cola will announce the winner sometime this month.
“In early January, we’ll spotlight the Top 10 communities per capita whose kindness shone the brightest,” the company’s website says.
“From there, our panel of judges will carefully review the stories and select the finalists, before ultimately crowning Canada’s Kindest Community.”
Hilton Beach General Store is asking everyone to keep their fingers crossed.
