Hamilton police have released a photo of 34-year-old Joel Benjamin, who is wanted in connection with the stabbing of a woman in Hamilton earlier this month.
A Toronto man is wanted in the stabbing of a woman in Hamilton earlier this month.
Hamilton police said they got a call for a stabbing at the Red Rose Motel on Queenston Road, near Nash Road North, on Jan. 2.
Officers arrived and learned that a woman was pulled from a car by a man known to her and was attacked, police said.
The victim was subsequently taken to the hospital, where she remains in recovery.
In a news release on Tuesday, police identified the suspect as 34-year-old Joel Benjamin. They have released a photo of him as the search for him is ongoing.
Police did not share how the victim knew the suspect.
