Delays on M1 at Leicester due to spillage of offal

Drivers are being warned of delays on the M1 at Leicester due to a spillage of offal.

National Highways said one lane was closed northbound between junctions 21 and 21A while clear-up work takes place.

The northbound exit slip road to Leicester Forest East services is also closed.

Delays of 45 minutes remain with five miles (eight km) of congestion, National Highways added.
