President Donald Trump’s approval ratings remain underwater as he approaches the one-year mark of his second term in office, according to CNN data analyst Harry Enten.

Trump’s net approval rating has been negative for 310 consecutive days, according to Enten’s aggregate of polls. Enten highlighted recent polls from AP-NORC Center, Ipsos, Yahoo and Quinnipiac University that all show Trump with a negative approval rating.

“Just look at Donald Trump’s net approval rating: Negative, negative, negative, negative! Negative 14, Negative 16, Negative 17 and Negative 19, according to AP-NORC, with no real change in the aggregate, from where we were last month,” Enten said in a clip shared on X on Thursday.

He then appeared to take a jab at the New York Jets, instead calling them the “New Jersey Jets.”

“Trump is underwater like the New Jersey Jets,” he said.

Enten then explained that it is no surprise that Trump is still underwater.

“Because just take a look at the days that Trump has been underwater. We are talking about every single day in my aggregate of polls since March 12 of 2025. In terms of days in a row, we’re talking about 310 days in a row that Donald Trump’s net approval rating has been in the negative,” Enten said.

Enten explained that Trump is polling “poorly” across multiple issues, including immigration. He said Trump has a negative 11-point approval rating on immigration, a negative 14-point approval rating on foreign policy, a negative 16-point approval rating on the economy and a negative 18-point approval rating on trade and tariffs.

He also noted that Trump has a negative 38-point approval rating on his handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Enten’s analysis comes as a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center found that half of respondents said the country as a whole and the economy have become somewhat or much worse off since the beginning of Trump’s second term. About 40% said the same about themself and their family and their own personal finances.

The poll also showed that the public believed Trump has done more harm than good on creating jobs, the cost of living and the cost of health care.
