A report obtained by multiple news outlets showed that Renee Good — the 37-year-old woman killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer last week — may have been hit by four bullets, not three, as previously reported.
The violence of Good’s death sparked chaos, anger and terror on the Minneapolis street where she had been observing ICE operations at the wheel of a burgundy SUV. With her were her partner and pet dog, who both survived.
The incident instantly sparked widespread anger at the federal agents, who appeared to block immediate medical support for Good, instead waiting several minutes for other emergency personnel to arrive at the scene.
NBC News reported that Good was still alive when medics reached her, although her pulse was irregular.
The mother of three had two apparent gunshot wounds on the right side of her chest, one on her left forearm and another potential shot to the left side of her head, according to an incident report obtained by The Minneapolis Star Tribune and The New York Times.
She reportedly had blood on her face and torso, with “protruding tissue” on the left side of her head. Blood was flowing from her left ear.
Bystander video and witness commentary showed how Good had been confronted by ICE officers in a chaotic manner, with officers appearing to give conflicting directions at the same time. During this, ICE officer Jonathan Ross moved toward the front of the vehicle Good was driving, on the driver’s side.

President Donald Trump and top officials, including Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, have claimed that Good was using her car as a weapon, intentionally and aggressively trying to hit Ross — even though the bystander video tells a different story.
Good appeared to be piloting the SUV away from the officers at low speed when she was shot, with her front wheels turned away from him.
Ross himself was filming the incident on his cell phone. One of the final things Good can be heard telling the officers was, “I’m not mad at you.” After Ross fired his weapon at her, a voice that is presumably his could be heard saying, “Fucking bitch.”
Good’s SUV then ran into a pole.
One witness who called 911 could not immediately speak and was told to take a moment to catch their breath, according to transcripts of the calls obtained by HuffPost.
The person told an operator that the partner of the person who had been shot hopped “out of the vehicle [and] ran to help.”
“I saw blood all over the driver and then the partner who was trying to provide assistance,” the person said.
“They just shot a lady. Point-blank range in her car,” another caller, who gave his name as Matt Callenson, told a 911 operator.
“She’s fuckin’ dead. They fuckin’ shot her,” Callenson said. “There’s like 50 fuckin’ ICE agents over here. Just get some fucking cops over here with some fuckin’ balls!”

Another caller appeared distraught over the behavior of law enforcement on the scene.
Within around 30 minutes of the shooting, Ross had been transported to an unspecified federal building, according to an incident report released by the Minneapolis Fire Department and obtained by HuffPost.
The Department of Homeland Security officials told CBS News this week that Ross suffered internal bleeding during the incident and was treated at a hospital.
Video showed him walking away from the shooting unaided.
Good’s autopsy report has yet to be released, but may fill in more details in the story of her death. Her family members, meanwhile, have said that they intend to pursue their own investigation.
