It is with
great sadness that we announce the passing of Edna Patrica
“Pat” Hensbee. Pat passed away on January 14th, 2026, in
High-Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care with her family at her
side.

Born in
Antigonish and raised in Cross Road Country Harbour, she was a
daughter of the late William and Verda (Fenton)
Wilson.

Pat was a
devoted wife and loving Mother. “Nanny” loved her
grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. Her family came first,
and she would do anything for them. One of her favourite things was to
spend time at Pringle Lake with her loving husband, Delbert. Pat loved
Anne of Green Gables and had an impressive collection of Lucy Maud
Montgomery books. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, lexicon puzzles, and
word search books. Pat loved to bake and made amazing cinnamon rolls.
Pat was known for her sweet tooth and never turned down a square or a
cookie.

She is
survived by her husband of 63 years, Delbert; children, Bradley
Hensbee, Antigonish; Debbie Nichols, Middle Sackville; and Heidi
Fraser (Daniel), Arisaig; grandchildren, Amy Nichols, Ryan Nichols,
Devin Hensbee, Cameron Fraser, and Lilly Fraser; great grandchildren,
Logan, William, and Norah Patriquin; and sister, Grace Archibald,
Bedford.

Mason.
