The driver of a pickup truck is dead after a head-on collision with a transport truck on Highway 7 east of Kaladar, Ont., late Friday night.
The crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. , Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said in a release Saturday morning.
“The driver of the pickup, who was alone in the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene,” the release said.
The driver of the transport was taken to hospital with injuries.
OPP say Highway 7 remains closed between Highways 38 and 41 and an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
