It shows the perpetrator pouring some form of an accelerant on the Range Rover parked outside a home. He is wearing a grey coat with the hood up, a face covering and rucksack on his back.
A woman shouts at him that “there are women and children in that house” but he takes no notice. He takes out his phone and casually takes a photo or video of the SUV alight before running to his nearby scrambler and escaping.
A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí attended the scene of criminal damage by fire caused to a vehicle in the Roxboro area of County Limerick that occurred on August 1, 2025 at approximately 8pm.”
The garda spokesperson said no injuries occurred as a result of this incident.
