Churchill Falls (Government of Newfoundland and Labrador)
The review committee set up to assess the Churchill River MOU is inviting public input on the MOU on hydro expansion in Labrador.
A website has been set up to allow residents to “have their voices heard.”
The Independent Review Committee has been tasked with assessing whether or not the agreement is in the province’s best long-term interests, and they’re seeking public input.
They have until April to report to government with their assessment and recommendations.
Public submissions must be received by Saturday, March 1st.
Shorter submissions, limited to 200 words, may be submitted through an online form, while longer submissions can be made via email at submissions@churchillriverreview.ca .
