Environment Canada says the current winter storm is expected to drop anywhere from 20 to 40 cm of snow across our region through Monday morning. Here’s a list of what’s closed due to the snowstorm:

Hamilton

Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board schools, adult education, school-based child care centres and administrative buildings;
Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board schools, adult education, school-based child care centres and administrative buildings;
Hillfield Strathallan College;
Providence Christian School;
The Salvation Army Hamilton;
First Class Children’s Centre.

Halton Region

Halton District School Board schools and offices;
Halton Catholic District School Board schools and offices;
Transportation services in Zones 1, 2 and 3;
Milton Community Resource Centre.

Niagara Region

District School Board of Niagara schools and administrative sites;
Niagara Catholic District School Board schools and offices;
Niagara Children’s Centre School Authority;
A Child’s World centres;
Meals on Wheels Port Colborne/Wainfleet.

Brantford and Brant County

Grand Erie District School Board schools, administrative buildings and child-care facilities;
Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board.

As of 9 p.m., the OPP is reporting over 40 cm of snow has fallen across the GTA.

Environment Canada says Toronto could see over 50 cm of snow overnight into Monday morning.

Hamilton and Niagara regions are expected to receive anywhere from 20 to 35 cm of snow throughout Sunday and overnight into Monday morning.
