It has been another drama-filled weekend in Scotland, this time, Celtic and Hearts at the centre of the action.
On Sunday, Celtic made the trip to Tynecastle to take on the Premiership leaders, and it was a lively game, with Auston Trusty’s red card a talking point during the highly-charged 2-2 draw.
Derek McInnes offered some interesting views on the Trusty sending off, and it has boiled the blood of Celtic hero Peter Grant.

The Hearts boss told the media that he was ‘shocked’ that Trusty’s initial yellow card was overturned into a red by VAR, and how the Hoops don’t usually get red cards.
Celtic have since appealed Trusty’s red card, and the outcome remains to be seen, because it has divided opinion.
However, Grant told Go Radio that McInnes’ digs at Celtic not getting red cards were ‘ridiculous’, and he feels he is putting ‘pressure’ on the officials.
Grant called for the SFA to take action against McInnes’s remarks, as he also called for the former Rangers man to list the times Celtic should have had players sent off this season.
Paul Cooney: “Peter, what about the comments there from the Hearts manager?”
Grant: “Really poor, I thought. When he was talking about ‘Celtic not having any red cards,’ I think that’s ridiculous. I think the SFA should look at that.
“That is trying to put pressure on referees, for me. I would like Derek to go and say, ‘where a Celtic player should have got a red card anytime this season.’ If he can point out the incidents Celtic got away with, fine. No problem.
“But I thought it was a ridiculous comment. It’s got nothing to do with that game. He (Trusty) shouldn’t have got a red card because, exactly what the referee did, that’s why I thought he did it fantastically well. He pointed towards where the ball was going. He knew the direction the player would have to run.
“Steven McLean should have stuck with his guns, and he didn’t. I thought Derek’s comments were really poor. It’s rubbish that.”

For an experienced manager, he’s easily rattled.
❤️ “Great effort from everybody”
👀 “One of their inexperienced coaches, I didn’t like his reaction”

Scotland’s three-way tussle for the title will only get spicier
Celtic have dominated in Scotland for nearly two decades now, but this season is very, very different, and title number 56 is under serious threat.
From now until the split, and then the post-split matches, you can only sense and feel that things will only spice up, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the SFA are called into action a lot more.
The January transfer window is going to have a big bearing on who wins the title, but with only six points separating Celtic in third and the leaders, then this is far from over, and you sense the mettle of the players is going to be tested.
