Hull FC will take on Salford RLFC in the third round of the Challenge Cup on Friday 6 February. The tie will take place at Salford Community Stadium, with an 8pm kick off scheduled.
The cup round will launch the competitive season for all Super League clubs, and will take place one week before the launch of the league season.
For Hull, the tie comes eight days before their Super League opener against Bradford Bulls on February 14, with the side on the road once again at Wigan Warriors in round two.
Elsewhere, London Broncos’ tie against Bradford Bulls has been picked for television coverage on the BBC. The game will take place at Wimbledon’s Cherry Red Records Stadium on Sunday 8 February, kick-off 3pm.
