Seattle police are investigating two deadly shootings in SODO, with two men dead and a juvenile injured.

SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating two deadly shootings in SODO Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a shooting at 1st Avenue South and South Dakota Street just after 4 a.m., according to the Seattle Police Department (SPD).

Responding officers reportedly found a juvenile shot in his leg and another male shot in the chest.

Both victims were transported to the hospital, where the male shot in the was pronounced dead. Police said the juvenile is expected to survive.

According to police another “involved” man was transported to police headquarters to be interviewed by detectives. Police did not specify how the man was involved.

Seattle police officers responded to a separate deadly shooting in the 400 block of South Massachusetts Street around 6 a.m.

Seattle police said officers found a man in a nearby parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Officers also found an unoccupied sports car that was involved in a traffic crash at 4th and Massachusetts, parked next to the man. Police said the car sustained “considerable damage” and was undrivable.

There are no suspects in custody in the second shooting.

Seattle police are investigating both incidents as homicides and said they are not connected.
