SEATTLE — For the second time Sunday morning, Seattle police are investigating a deadly shooting in the city’s SODO neighborhood.
At about 6:05 a.m., officers responded to reports of a person down and bleeding near 4th Avenue South and South Massachusetts Street. When they arrived, they found a man in a nearby parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. Seattle Fire Department crews arrived shortly after and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Next to the victim, officers found a damaged, unoccupied sports car involved in a traffic collision. The car was no longer drivable, and investigators are working to determine how the crash may be connected to the fatal shooting.
Detectives with the Homicide and Crime Scene Investigation Units responded and are leading the investigation. Police have not made any arrests and did not find any suspects at the scene.
