Bristol City have signed Delano Burgzorg on loan from Middlesbrough until the end of the season.
The Dutch forward links up with Gerhard Struber’s side and is City’s third signing of the January transfer window.
Burgzorg has been at Middlesbrough since 2024 and has Championship experience with both Boro and Huddersfield.
Before that, he played his football in Italy, his native Netherlands and Germany, ahead of moving to England.
This season, Burgzorg has scored two goals and registered three assists in 25 appearances, including a dramatic late winner against West Bromwich Albion earlier this month.
On joining City, he said: “I’m really excited to be here, I am a player who likes to score goals and get forward.
“I feel like the vision of the club is why I wanted to come here. I cannot wait to meet the fans with some big games coming up.”
Gerhard Struber spoke about getting the signing over the line, he added: “He is a player who will give us a really good dynamic and physical power.
“This is the moment for us to bring out the best in Delano. He will give us a different phase and different style.”
