CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – Cincinnati hospitality leaders are demanding change after a recent viral video brought national attention to the Queen City and its downtown for all the wrong reasons.

Cellphone footage of a large fight that broke out around 3 a.m. Saturday, July 26, at the corner of Fourth and Elm streets has brought the safety of downtown to the forefront, something restaurateurs say is obviously not good for business.

Britney Ruby Miller is the CEO of Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment. She spearheaded the Cincinnati Downtown Restaurant Coalition’s response.

Ruby Miller and more than a dozen business owners signed a statement that was released publicly July 29.
