Crystal Palace have agreed a deal worth £48 million ($66m) for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jørgen Strand Larsen, sources have told ESPN.
The move is worth an initial £43m with £5m in add ons, and should be completed before the end of transfer deadline day on Monday.
Strand Larsen is likely a replacement for Jean-Philippe Mateta, with AC Milan the frontrunners to sign the France international.
Sources said Mateta would rather join the Serie A giants than Nottingham Forest, who have also been credited with an interest in this window.

Oliver Glasner has been outspoken about Palace’s transfer activity in this window, having lost captain Marc Guéhi to Manchester City.
That came after Arsenal swooped for star midfielder Eberechi Eze in the summer.
Meanwhile, after Palace’s draw to 10-man Nottingham Forest on Sunday, Glasner refused to be drawn on names when asked about the club’s transfer business.
“I don’t know,” Glasner said. “I just told you before in all the interviews, told the board. I don’t want to talk about the transfers today because I want to focus on the game, this group of players.
“I know Adam Wharton, Daichi Kamada and Evann Guessand will be training tomorrow and hopefully available for Brighton next Sunday.
“Then we have a clear agreement and commitment it will be JP Mateta or somebody else. I don’t know how the situation is.
“But if JP leaves, a striker, a number nine comes in and then let’s see what’s happening but I would prefer not to talk the day before deadline day so much about transfers.
“My wish would be everything is sorted two weeks ago so we can train, we can focus and develop. I spoke to my staff this week, we have to make a step backwards.”
