Celtic have signed striker Junior Adamu on loan until the end of the season.
The Austrian international joins from Bundesliga side SC Freiburg, with an option to make the move permanent in the summer.
Adamu becomes Celtic’s third signing of the January window after the loan arrivals of Julian Araujo, from Bournemouth, and Tomas Cvancara from Borussia Monchengladbach.
He started his senior career at Liefering in Austria, before moves to RB Salzburg, St. Gallen and Freiburg, where he has scored seven goals in 67 games in all competitions.
The 24-year-old has been capped nine times by Austria but is yet to score for his country.

Celtic manager Martin O’Neill said: “We are really pleased to welcome Junior to Celtic. He has experience of high level football, firstly with RB Salzburg and of course in the German Bundesliga for the past few seasons.
“He has also been involved in European competition, so we are bringing in a talented, experienced, international forward to really enhance our attacking options.”
Speaking to Celtic TV, Adamu added: “I’m very excited to be here and I can’t wait to get started. I want to give my best for this club and try and win the title, also the cup, and to score a lot of goals and help the team, and I also want to improve as a player.
