UPDATED STORY
A serious crash in Centre Hastings snarled traffic through the afternoon and evening on Monday.
Around 3:00 p.m., emergency crews were called to Highway 62 and Highway 7, where a transport truck and an ambulance collided.
Four people were taken to hospital for treatment, with one having serious or life-threatening injuries.
During the investigation, Highway 7 was closed between Bonjour Blvd and Cooper Road, while Hwy 62 was closed at Gladstone to Highway 7 in Madoc.
Police are asking anyone who may have dash cam footage or may have witnessed the incident to contact the OPP at 1‑888‑310‑1122.

Highway 7 is closed to all traffic at Highway 62 in Madoc after a serious accident.
Police, firefighters, and ambulance have responded to the scene, where a tractor-trailer has rolled over.
Drivers are advised to take an alternate route while first responders work at the scene.
